Spaces on the map

Version 1.3.0 Latest

Give each space a place on the map, report a problem from any page, let AI review your procedures, export your inventory to Excel and see class results at a glance, plus surveys that now have their own home.

Spaces on the map

Every space in Facilities can now carry a location. Start typing an address and pick from the suggestions, or drop a pin on the map. The space's page shows a Location card with the map and the address, so visitors know where to go.

Report a problem from anywhere

Spotted something that doesn't look right? Open your profile menu and choose Report a bug. Describe what happened and send it without leaving the page you are on. Site administrators get a list of every report, each with its own page showing the details and who sent it.

AI review for procedures

Procedures can now be reviewed by AI. It reads a procedure and suggests improvements, such as a missing safety step or an unclear instruction. Each suggestion can be applied with one click or dismissed. Find it on any procedure in Procedures.

Surveys get their own home

Running a survey and building one are now two separate places. Conducting is where you send surveys out and follow the responses; Surveys is where you write them. Each has its own permission, so you can let people run surveys without letting them edit the questions. Both sit in the sidebar under Education: Conducting and Surveys.

Export inventory to Excel

A new download button in Inventory saves your catalog as an Excel spreadsheet. The file holds exactly what you are looking at, so filter or search first to export only the items you need.

Procedure versions keep their own name and icon

When a procedure is renamed or given a new icon, older versions keep the name and icon they had at the time. Looking back through a procedure's history in Procedures now shows each version exactly as it was.

Teams inside teams

Teams can now contain other teams. A department can hold its labs, and a lab its working groups. Anyone in a smaller team is counted in the larger one, so sharing with a department reaches everyone in it. Manage teams from Members.

Class results at a glance

Class results in Teaching are easier to read. Each student's progress is drawn as a row of dots coloured by result, and the new Score Chart shows how the whole class did on every question. Results pages now work on phones too.

Matching with an official list

Matching tools in Modules now start from an official list of entries, which AI can write for you from your files or a few typed lines. From that list, Mantle builds rounds of pairs or small groups, keeps people from meeting twice, and lets you adjust any round by hand.

A little sparkle

Pinning a page, starring an item, marking a step done and similar actions now answer with a brief sparkle, so you can see at once that it worked.

A Map of Your Wiki

Version 1.2.1

A map of how wiki pages connect, Reviews in the sidebar, a profile menu with three new themes, and pages that open faster all through Mantle.

A map of how wiki pages connect

Every wiki page now has a graph button. It opens an interactive map showing how that page links to other pages, laid out as a branching tree. Hover over or click any page on the map to see a short card about it. Open it from any article in Wiki.

Reviews in the sidebar

Reviews is now its own place in the sidebar, with a dot counting the drafts waiting on you. Each review shows what kind of page it is, where it stands and who has been asked. On a procedure, the Versions and Approvals card shows who approved each version and when, with an Approve button on the draft.

A profile menu and new themes

Click your picture in the top corner to open a menu where you can edit your profile, switch organization, choose a theme or log out. Themes now change in place without reloading the page. Three new themes arrived: Dark Glass, Microscope (with gently moving microbes in the background) and Dark Microscope.

Everything opens faster

Pages now gather what they need in fewer steps, so lists and dashboards appear sooner. Pictures and icons load once and are then remembered by your browser, and while you are signing in, Mantle quietly gets the next screens ready so they open straight away.

A Dictionary for Procedures

Version 1.1.5

A Dictionary for procedures, a home for Modules, notes that carry over between procedure runs, one list for everyone in your organization, and a Jobs page for your AI work.

A Dictionary of terms for procedures

Procedures now have a Dictionary. Search and filter your terms, add a new one from a small pop-up, and open any term to see its definition and how often it is used across your procedures. Changes save on their own. Find it in Procedures.

Modules get their own home

Modules now have their own list page, with the owners of each module shown on it. Owners can be managed from the module's top bar. The modules list and the wiki list can switch between a row view and a card view, and so can team and group member lists. See Modules.

Notes that carry over between procedure runs

When you run a procedure, each step's comment box now shows what people wrote on that step in earlier runs, with a link back to each run. Pin a comment and it appears on every future run; pinned notes can be dragged into order. Try it in Procedures.

Better filtering and sorting in inventory

The catalog list and the item, space and tag pages now share one filter panel. Filter by several tags at once and sort with a click on an icon. Each catalog item also shows its owners' faces. See Inventory.

One list for everyone in your organization

The Members page now shows everyone in the organization as one list you can expand. Team rosters are shown as tables, and a New Team button sits at the top. People can also ask to join a badge or a group, and whoever runs it can accept or decline.

Easier course setup

A course page now has a Grading card. Turn grading on or off and write the grading instructions and badge criteria, which save as you type. You can create a new badge right from the course, and a banner at the top lists the setup steps still to do. Find it in Teaching.

Follow your AI work on the Jobs page

AI work in Inventory, Modules, Teaching and elsewhere now shows the same progress box, and you can cancel it. Your running and finished AI work is listed on the new Jobs page, which appears in the sidebar once you have started something.

Mantle 1.0: Official Release

Version 1.0.0

Drafts and approvals for every page, a home page you arrange yourself, an assistant that knows your records, survey runs, rebuilt teaching and learning, and monthly invoices.

Drafts, approvals and version history

Changes to wiki pages, lessons, evaluations, surveys, procedures and catalog items now go into a draft, and the published page stays as it is until the draft is published. Your organization can require approval first: the people, teams or badges you choose can comment, ask for changes or approve. Every page shows its version number and a history you can read or restore, and a Compare view shows the draft beside the published page with the changes marked. Start in Wiki.

A home page you arrange yourself

You now land on an Overview page that shows what needs you, the places you visit most, where you left off, drafts waiting for your review and the organization's week in numbers. Drag, hide and add cards, or simply describe the layout you want. A layout can be shared as the starting point for a team or the whole organization.

An assistant that knows your records

In the assistant and tutor chat, type @ to mention a procedure, item, person or page, or attach them with Add context. The assistant can look things up across Mantle and draft changes for you, such as writing procedure steps or setting up a course. Nothing changes until you approve it, item by item, on the card it shows you.

Send surveys and read the results

A survey can now be sent straight away or scheduled for a list of people or teams, with an opening and closing date and a choice of anonymous or named answers. People answer inside Mantle or through a public link in your organization's colours. Results are broken down per question and per person, and can be downloaded as a spreadsheet. See Surveys.

Teaching, rebuilt

Courses can now contain other courses. A class page has one table showing each learner or each activity, with a band at the top for what needs your attention. A class can be prepared as a draft and published when you are ready, and from the same page you can add people or teams and give someone extra time. See Teaching.

A new home for learners

Tests can adapt, making later questions easier or harder based on earlier answers, and they are shown one page per topic. Learners can join a class from Open Courses or take a course on their own from the Library. Their page shows each course with its progress and badges, plus what is due next. See Learning.

Easier ways to bring people in

Create invite links that expire after a number of days or uses, and turn them off at any time. Add someone by email before they have even signed in, or list your email domains so anyone signing up with a matching address joins automatically, with the teams and badges you choose. People can ask to join a team, and every member can have a job title. See Members.

See exactly who can do what

On the Permissions page, pick any member to see everything they can do and which rule allowed or blocked each one. Ready-made rules make common setups quick, and a live preview shows who a rule will reach. Everyone can see their own access on their profile.

Monthly invoices

Organizations now buy AI tokens and plans directly and receive one invoice a month. Each invoice has its own page and a PDF to download, and shows whether it has been paid. The billing page also shows where your spending goes. See Billing.

Billing and Usage with the token balance, balance over time and the current planBilling and Usage with the token balance, balance over time and the current plan

Nutrition and supplement labels

A catalog item can now carry a Nutrition Facts or Supplement Facts label. Fill it in field by field and the daily-value percentages are worked out for you. A compliance check flags anything that does not meet the rules, and the finished label can be downloaded as an image. Find it on any item in Inventory.
